Hello, my name is Barbara!

I am the owner and currently, main pet stylist of Dirty Dog Grooming Salon. A few words about me, as the first step to get to know your future dog groomer better. I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary.

I got my first dog at the age of 10. I always had an interest to work with dogs on a professional level. I got a Yorkshire terrier in 2009. He was only 4 months old when I completed my certification and used him as my model dog.

In 2010 I had the opportunity to open up my small shop in the heart of Budapest.

In 2013 I decided to try a new adventure and moved to Canada. While improving my language skills, I started working at a busy Calgary salon as a groomer. I stayed with them for about 9 years.

And finally at the end of 2022 I moved to Canmore and built the courage to start my own business. I always try to improve my skills and love to be creative.

I am a certified cat groomer. And I became a certified Asian stye groomer in 2017. As well as earning a certification in pet first aid. I like to attend on competitions if my time allows it, to learn different techniques from other groomers in the industry.

I currently have 3dogs, a pomeranian , my yorkie who is turning 15years old this year and a bichon-shih tzu named Fergus. On my free time I love to travel and just being outdoors to enjoying the beauty, Canmore has to offer.
